When signing the permit application, you are hereby certifying that you are the owner of record of the named property, or that the proposed work is authorized by the owner of record and that you have been authorized by the owner to make this application as his/her authorized agent.
The City of Mountlake Terrace requires permits for remodeling activities. Application forms for permits and land use approval as well as checklists are provided below in a printable format. Please follow these steps before completing a permit application:
*Note: For those permits or applications calculated on an hourly rate that will be charged to the applicant is the rate in effect at the time review or inspection work is actually performed by staff regardless of the date of application, approval or issuance of a permit.
The Building permit applications/checklists below are in a "type-able" format -- so you can fill in information directly online. The document will open as a PDF. Once the form has been completed, they may be submitted in one of the following ways:

It is important to provide all required documentation with the permit application. The required fee(s), payable by cash or check, is due at the time the permit application is submitted.
