Inclement Weather Policy
Garbage will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day. In addition, Waste Management may provide a drop-box at a central location for customers who have immediate disposal needs. Yard debris shall be collected on the Saturday following the interrupted collection.
Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day for recyclables. Waste Management will provide a drop-box at a central location for customers who have immediate recycling needs. This will likely be at the Civic Campus, 23204 58th Avenue West.
Multifamily, Commercial and Drop-box Customers: Waste Management will collect as soon as weather conditions improve. In some commercial areas, Waste Management may collect after regular hours and/or on Saturdays in order to catch up.
If inclement weather occurs on the same scheduled collection day two weeks in a row, an additional collection will be made on the next possible business day that same week, (i.e. not waiting for the regularly scheduled collection day for the missed area.)
