[ARCHIVED] City Manager Recruitment Commences

The City Council commenced its search for their next City Manager after approving a professional services agreement with Colin Baenziger & Associates to conduct the recruitment. Applicants must apply by March 11, 2016.

Baenziger said their goal is to identify at least eight top candidates, followed by interviews with CB&A to assess abilities and extensive background and reference checks. CB&A will then update the City Council on recommended finalists which will take place in a special meeting tentatively scheduled for April 18. The City Council will select the finalists who will interview with Department Directors on April 29, followed by a community reception to introduce the final candidates. City Council interviews will take place at a special meeting tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 30 and a decision would be made soon thereafter.
