[ARCHIVED] Child Luring Incident

Recently, an 11-year-old female Mountlake Terrace resident reported she was contacted on her cellular telephone via a social media application by an unknown subject identifying himself as a 14-year-old boy. They arranged to meet at Mountlake Terrace Elementary School, 22001 52nd Avenue West.

The female took her 12-year-old friend with her for the meeting. “Jo Jo” arrived in a light blue sedan and was described as a white male in his 20s with facial hair. The suspect attempted to lure the two girls into his vehicle.

The girls refused to get in and the male left in his vehicle momentarily, then returned and circled the parking lot for a period of time before leaving the area. The suspect has not been identified.

If you have any information about the suspect, please contact Detective Sergeant King at (425) 670-8260. If you see the light blue sedan, call 9-1-1.
