Gel Printing with Botanicals
Learn how to create unique monoprints without a press using a gel printing plate and botanical materials. In this class we'll use an 8"x 10" gel plate with acrylic paint and natural elements, such as leaves, grasses and flowers to make unique layered prints. Gel prints are perfect for collage, cards or the foundation for mixed media work and unlike many traditional printmaking techniques it can be done almost anywhere. Class is instructed by Maren Oates, marenoates.com.
