Meeting Information

The Recreation and Park Advisory Commission meets in-person at City Hall with remote options. You may attend in-person, watch online, or listen over the telephone. If you wish to make a public comment at a meeting, please see the Public Comment Protocol information below.

Public Comment Protocol

Public comments are accepted at meetings remotely, in-person, and in writing.

To make a public comment remotely (via Zoom or telephone), complete the Remote Public Comment Request Form at least 24 hours before the meeting. You will then be contacted via email to confirm your participation. Your reply to the confirmation email must be received by 4 p.m. on the day of meeting to be acknowledged that same evening. 

To make a public comment in-person, please sign up at the meeting (no 24 hour notice required).

To submit a written public comment, please email your remarks to or mail them to City Hall, 23204 58th Avenue W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043. Written public comment must be received by 4 p.m. on the day of meeting to be acknowledged that same evening.

The Recreation and Park Advisory Commission (RPAC) promotes the use of recreation facilities and programs and participates in citywide special events. They encourage and contribute to volunteer park projects including playground installations and park clean-up activities. They communicate with subcommittees, and other volunteer organizations providing recreation services within the community.

Major projects include updating the Recreation Park Open Space Plan 2015 (PDF) as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan and making recommendations on these projects to the City Council. RPAC meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace City Hall.
